Blaine Foster

Blaine is Director at Eaglestone in South Africa which he joined in 2011. Blaine is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience in infrastructure advisory transactions in Southern Africa, in the areas of M&A, project finance, debt and equity raising and structuring, across energy (including solar photovoltaic, wind, hydro, concentrated solar power and gas-fired technologies), toll road and other infrastructure sectors, totalling in excess of ZAR 20 billion.

Previously, Blaine spent three and a half years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Assurance Line of Service, working primarily with clients in the financial services industry. His client base was tailored for a focus on businesses within the asset management and banking sectors and included Cadiz Asset Management, Metropolitan and Capitec Bank, amongst others. During this time, he gained experience in the areas of auditing, accounting, financial management and taxation. He was also responsible for evaluating the Basel II capital adequacy reporting of his banking clients.
