Eaglestone advises on South African renewable energy projects

Eaglestone is pleased to announce that it has acted as financial advisor to the African Clean Energy Developments and Old Mutual Consortium on the 89 MW Castle Wind Farm in South Africa, which achieved financial close in May 2023.

This transaction marks another key milestone for Eaglestone, which has also proudly acted as financial advisor to Red Rocket on achieving financial close on the Brandvalley, Rietkloof and Wolf wind farms under the REIPPPP Bid Window 5 in February 2023.

To date Eaglestone has advised on the closing of 453 MW of wind energy projects for 2023 alone.

To add to what has been a very busy and prolific first half of 2023, Eaglestone has also acted as financial advisor to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in South African renewable energy developer Mulilo Energy Holdings.
